Yamaha's STAGEPAS 400BT 680W Portable PA system is a great way to get heard wherever you are. The STAGEPAS 400BT Soft Rolling Case makes it even more portable and easier to move around between gigs. Its slim design with padded protection and extra pocket on the outside for your cables makes it easy to get it in out of wherever you are in seconds. A telescoping hand gives you the option for a better angle while rolling it in and out to the venue or practice space.
Created specifically for the STAGEPAS 400i
Telescoping handle
Provides excellent padded protection
Slim design for easy handling
This is my 2nd soft case, the first one I accidentally allowed a loose speaker to fall on the extension handle, so don't do that. Just kidding, it is decent gigging around town protection and not something for hard-core touring being a soft case. Not for flying with baggage handlers anyway. It's light, and fits the Stagepas like a glove. Wheels round it out in the plus column. It was about $85 (value 5 stars) when I bought the 2nd one, which was less than the 1st time I bought it. This fits one speaker and the mixer, I bought a seperate protective cover for the second speaker and place it on top of the rolling case to transport it into the venue as one entire piece, bungee it down or not it'll workout fine, just be mindful...carry on !!These I bought a Yamaha 600 I when they first came out about 9 years ago along with a pair of these bags. Super tough, super strong, and lasted me dragging these at least three times a week up until a few months ago when one of the telescoping handles broke . Bought some new ones for a great price on Amazon and couldn’t be happier! If you have a 600 and play ‘out’ you need these!bought one many years ago. was super happy and everyone borrowed for parties and events.they lost it. just bought the new one with Bluetooth. Same excellence as before. Freq response is stupid good!Bought this for a portable church setup. After years of not having a decent way to carry their large speakers, a pair of EV ZX1 speakers in this rolling case almost brought tears to their eyes! The wheels seem sturdy enough for years of service on smooth floors. They're like in-line skating wheels. Bumpy sidewalks could certainly shorten the life of the plastic housing that holds the wheels though. The case has long plastic ribs on its back for rolling down a set of stairs. I tried it once and it worked, although I'd probably recommend carrying it to save the impact on the wheels. As long as you're gentle with it, it could handle stairs. There's a handle on each end. They're sturdy nylon handles - not plastic. The whole thing is kind of long for a person to carry alone, but it's manageable for just getting it in and out of a vehicle and then wheeling it the rest of the way. The plastic ribs on the back give it some rigidity for when it's being carried by both handles. The internal padding seems about right, including a pad that sits in between the two speakers. The zippers are big and seem tough enough. The EV ZXi90 speakers fit perfectly in this case. I also tried my QSC K8 speakers, which have built-in amplifiers. They also fit nicely, but the weight would probably cause the wheels to wear out quicker. For my purposes, I prefer the individual K8 bags from QSC, since I can carry one in each hand that way. If I was mostly dealing with indoor floors, this bag would be great for the K8s too (or the EV ZXA1).As someone who over-researches things like this, I'm very pleased with this purchase. The photo in the advertisement is extremely misleading. The PA system has two speakers, and therefore requires two cases. The photo shows two speakers but ALSO two cases. Although I now see the fine print (as well as this same question asked and answered in the questions section), I purchased the item on the basis that it would protect the whole system. Before I returned it, however, I tested the fit on one of my speakers. The quality and protection of the case seemed very good. However, three aspects left me less apt to keep the first case and purchase a second: price, bulkiness, and top handle positioning. Paying $100 for protection for the whole system made sense, but to double that was too much for me. Although bulkiness is a product of the great protection the case offers, it was just a bit too much now to fit in the trunk of my small car (therefore less practical for me). Although the telescoping handle for rolling the case may come in handy, more often I'm carrying equipment over grass, gravel, dirt, or another surface that would make rolling less practical. Hence, I'm more inclined to use the top handle, which is not centered for even weight distribution of the speaker - the way the speaker's own handle IS. To summarize, this product is appropriately high-quality, yet quite expensive and may not be the most practical solution for everyone. Yamaha and Amazon, PLEASE UPDATE THE PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPH to reflect that cases are sold individually. This bag is made specifically for the Yamaha 600i and fits snugly but not so much that you have to work to get the speakers in. This is probably due to the fact that the heavy-duty zipper unzips to open-up 2/3rds of the entire case (which makes it super-easy to get the speakers in & out). The top & bottom handles are solid and strategically placed which makes them easy to grab/carry either vertically or horizontally. The side pockets are big enough to hold 25' worth of "real" 1/4" speaker cables and an IEC plug. The telescoping handles and poly, roller-derby type wheels are as good as you can find on your medium-priced luggage. Overall, these are a bit pricey (as with all rolling speaker bags) but this one is made of high-quality, very durable material. I have no doubt that this rolling case will provide the best protection for my investment and if you can afford them, get 'em. You won't be disappointed!Sure does pack the stagepas 4 real nice and tight for transporting, beats the heck out of lugging all the separate components to a gig one piece at a time. I strap my speaker stands to the back side to make it even more convenient.WOW!!!! These bags are so awesome! I just bought a new Yamaha 600 STAGEPAS that has 2 10" speakers, and I I really needed something nice and durable and the ease of use and hauling equipment on my own as a woman. These ROLL LIKE A SUITCASE! They have handles on both ends to grip sturdily when you lift them. The handle for rolling expands up for taller people. I am 5'9. They are awesome!400 PA system costs $900 & sleeve with wheels $200. no sense in pricing but it was absolutely required. So bought it. Cud be stitched for less than half pricejetais sur den recevoir deux pour ce prix, en plus payé 341$ rendu a 205$ je me sens flouéMade very goodGreat productNo other comments just great!
