These are stylish, lightweight and comfortable. Masculine and streamlined. Glass lenses. They are ever so slightly "narrow" prior to spreading them open slightly to then clasp on. I don't have a wide skull, but needed to do that. Used as reading glasses, so comfortable I forgot they were on. TBD re durability: time, wear and tear will tell. I tend to be rough on reading glasses and try to buy on sale bc they can get bent or smashed in my pocket. Previously I've worn another Calabria model (21040) for years, it looks like it's been discontinued, so I've started exploring for the next model before I'm completely out of my supply of the other model. I don't want to wear glasses that make me look like some "fake" intellectual, poet or designer. I prefer something you'd expect to see at a sporting or auto race event. Personal preference. These fit the bill: rubberized color accents, semi-frameless, rectangular lenses, flexie. I would even take a shallower lens to further streamline. The glasses are not square and does not fit well. Issue is they charge shipping if you return the product.Sharp edgesMaterials are exceedingly cheap and fragile. Within days of extremely light usage, the first pair broke when the lense underwire came apart where it meets the nose bridge. The plastic where it is anchored simply came apart.I really wanted to like these, so I contacted the seller who agreed to send a replacement *IF* I gave them (the seller, Color Viper) a 5 star review. I decided against my better judgement to do so, as I figured the seller was being (kind of) responsive and it was a seller review not a product review. I hate that this was a condition, but again I really wanted to like these glasses so I did. (I'm going back now to either remove that review or reduce the stars.)Replacement glasses arrived. What was the point? I was waking up, grabbed these, and in my tired state they slipped from my fingers and fell a max of 2 feet to the floor. I didn't think anything of it, except the handle broke, again the brittle frame just disintegrated. What a joke for a 'sports' pair of glasses.I'm done with these.i enjoy these glasses but one pair the lense already popped out after a week. And have not wore them much as I have many pairs. t he other pair is fine but this is the second time something like this ha happen and why i always buy more than one pairFor inexpensive readers, these are OK. Frame durability is poor for on and off your face dozens of time daily.I've purchased 4 pair of these in 3-4 month intervals. Love the fit, the clarity and the look. However, the plastic frames eventually broke on all but the most recently purchased pair. Tick tock. I am moving onto a different style now. Hope whatever is chosen has fit and clarify on par with these. These glasses looked great. Fit well and I really like how they looked on me. But, these are readers. They are on and off of my face 100 times a day. I dropped them once and they shattered. The frame broke in two near the nose guard and the lens and string or wire that held them in place was just hanging. A little too fragile for me.My husband loves these since they are flexible and he goes through several glasses a year. The lens isn't the highest quality, but you get what your pay for...since we are replacing often (whether we spend a lot of money on them or not), these fit the bill of being stylish and affordable.
